Finding A Local Provider
The clinical providers participating in this referral database supply their own information about their services. CAPS cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided. CAPS is unable to endorse any particular clinical provider that is listed. It is important to verify fees and that the selected provider is in-network with your insurance prior to your appointment. CAPS encourages users to verify their chosen provider’s license by visiting Virginia’s license lookup website.
Psychotherapy and psychiatry providers who wish to be added to the community referral database should complete this questionnaire. Additional questions about becoming a referral may be directed to [email protected]
Find Funding
CAPS and UVA Student Council recognize the importance of finding an affordable therapist and being able to have ongoing access to treatment. In paying for your first six sessions with a community therapist, The Next Steps Fund is intended to help reduce your initial financial burden. After the six initial visits, the student will pay for ongoing sessions independently or through their health insurance plan.
