Professional visits with a care provider have been pre-paid through the payment of the comprehensive student fee, however there are charges for medications, lab tests, supplies for certain treatments, immunizations and allergy injections, and copies of your medical record. Please see the Price Schedule. If you visit the Emergency Room when Student Health is closed, your insurance will be billed, and you will be responsible for the balance.
NO SHOW POLICY
Students are requested to contact Student Health as soon as possible if they are unable to keep their appointment. If the appointment is with CAPS, it must be cancelled by 8am on the day of the scheduled appointment. All other Student Health appointments must be cancelled at least one hour prior to the scheduled appointment time. If Student Health does not hear from the student within the appropriate timeframe, the student will be charged a $25 “No Show” charge.
*All University of Virginia students are eligible to receive services from the Student Disability Access Center free of charge.
