Bio

Trinley Palmo is a licensed clinical social worker and a public health professional.

Her primary treatment orientations are cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy with integration of other holistic and evidence based therapeutic approaches. She works with diverse clients from a multicultural, social justice and trauma informed perspective. She believes in empowering clients by acknowledging their lived cultural experiences, values and goals.

Trinley’s professional interests include anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, adjustment and identity issues. She has experience leading International Student support groups, mindfulness groups, Dialectical Behavior Therapy groups and workshops. She has strong interest in facilitating supportive outreach to diverse college student populations to promote mental health and wellbeing. Previously, she has worked in various community settings such as school, health department, college counseling center and hospital (both inpatient and outpatient).

Trinley holds a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She also holds a Master of Public Health, majoring in community health, from State University of New York, Stony Brook. Being a trilingual, she is fluent in English, Tibetan and Hindi.
