Ms. Griggs joined SHW in August 2021 and serves as the IT Support Specialist/LSP for Student Health and Wellness, IT. She’s chair of the Information Management Committee, and member of both the Human Resources Committee and Quality Management Committees, creating and reviewing Student Health & Wellness Policy and Procedures.  In her IT role, she manages the Smartsheet project management accounts, coordinates all SHW staff on and off boarding and provides technical support through the KACE ticketing system to aid SHW staff with technical challenges, hardware, and software repairs.

Prior to joining SHW she worked in ITS Desktop Support and University Advancement, and she’s been at UVA 16 years. In a previous life, she served her country in the USAF Security Forces, traveling the world and protecting our nation’s highest resources.

Ms. Griggs has a Bachelor of Arts, Interdisciplinary Humanities degree from the University of West Florida, Majoring in Art History, with Minors in Business Communications/Public Relations and English, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She’s currently attending Western Governor’s University for a BSIT to MSIT program.
