
Nicolo Porto is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. He graduated from Marquette University in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. He graduated from George Mason University in 2016 with his Master of Social Work, Clinical Concentration. He has a certificate in Sports Social Work from the Alliance of Social Workers in Sports (ASWIS). Nicolo was previously a school social worker with Loudoun County Public Schools and an outpatient therapist at the Traumatic Brain Injury Clinic at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital. He has a passion for working with young adults and athletes. His goal is to provide a safe environment for students to discuss and work through their mental health needs so that they can be successful in and out of the classroom. Nicolo utilizes a strengths-based perspective and incorporates client strengths into treatment. He operates from cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused frameworks. Outside of work, Nicolo enjoys spending time with his fiancé, dogs, playing sports, watching sports, and spending time with family and friends.
