John Huynh embarked on his journey at the UVA’s Department of Student Health & Wellness as a Helpdesk Support Analyst in April 2020. Demonstrating exceptional skills and dedication, he steadily advanced in his career, culminating in his appointment as Helpdesk Support Manager in 2023. With a background in network engineering and a passion for technology cultivated since his early years, John has played a pivotal role in optimizing IT operations for the department, ensuring seamless support for its staff and operations.

Before his promotion to Helpdesk Support Manager, John served as IT Manager at Bloomfield College, where he played a pivotal role in optimizing tech infrastructure for the Creative Arts & Technology division. His career trajectory reflects his commitment to continuous growth and excellence in IT support and management. In his current capacity, John leads the Helpdesk team, delivering top-tier technical assistance to faculty, staff, and students.
