Summer Health Insurance

Enrollment in the Aetna Student Health Plan during the summer semester is not automatic, and you must be enrolled in coursework for the summer term to be eligible. If you wish to enroll, please contact [email protected]. We will confirm your academic enrollment in SIS for the summer term and that full comprehensive fees are charged with tuition.

This chart summarizes the summer plan costs and information. Enrollment in Summer term ends with plan year ending 7/31/2023. Students must re-enroll again for Fall to begin a new plan year. More information is available on our Key Deadlines page.

Student + Dependent(s):
The Summer term premium for enrolling a dependent in the Aetna Student Health plan is dependent upon program start date to determine health plan effective date. The University does not contribute nor subsidize this cost; students bear the full cost for enrolling any dependent (spouse/domestic partner/child) in the Aetna Student Health plan. Plan charges for student are paid through a student's SIS account, dependent coverage is paid directly to Aetna.
