Donna Kaiser, PhD, LPC, LMFT, ATR-BC

Donna Kaiser is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is also a board certified art therapist. She joined CAPS in 2018 as a part-time therapist and has had over 25 years experience providing a variety of mental health services to children, adults, and families. Donna completed her MS in Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School and her PhD in Counselor Education from the College of William and Mary. She uses an attachment-informed approach to therapy while considering a person’s intersectional identity development. Areas of specialty include assisting with: graduate and professional school challenges, stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem, physical health concerns, and negotiating identity and intimacy, and improving relationship skills. In her free time she enjoys raising chickens, gardening, and making art out of found objects.
