Bea Palma, PhD
Bea earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Maryland-College Park. Before coming to the US, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist in Chile. Her clinical interests include cross-cultural and multicultural issues, international students, trauma, eating/body image issues, relationship issues, supervision and training, and group therapy. Bea approaches therapy mainly from a psychodynamic (relational, attachment) perspective, considering multicultural and diversity factors, and also incorporates mindfulness in her work. In her free time, Bea enjoys hiking, traveling, and meeting with friends and family.
