Stephanie Mitchell joined Student Health and Wellness in August 2003 and currently serves as the Project Coordinator for Administration. 

She has worked for the department since she was a student at UVA in various capacities including Help Desk Analyst, Clinic Manager, and Building and Construction Advisor.  Stephanie works on construction projects, as well as other operational functions such as human resources.  She served as a liaison between the SHW Leadership team and the construction and design teams to create the new Student Health and Wellness building which opened in the Fall of 2021.

Mrs. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Virginia in 2007 and a master’s degree in public administration with a focus in healthcare from James Madison University in 2009.
