Erin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who received her doctorate from Colorado State University. She completed her internship at the University of California-Davis Counseling Center where she received specialized training in the treatment of eating disorders. She gained additional experience with eating disorders at the Cambridge Eating Disorder Center and as the Clinical Director at La Luna-Fort Collins, an intensive outpatient program. She returned to college counseling in 2013 and currently serves as the Embedded CAPS Psychologist at the McIntire School of Commerce. As a CAPS therapist she also provides supervision to therapists in training. Her areas of clinical interest include eating disorders, anxiety, trauma, emotion regulation, interpersonal concerns, multicultural and gender issues, and group therapy. She draws from multiple perspectives, including attachment, polyvagal theory, mindfulness, self-compassion, and internal family systems. She has a relational approach and helps students understand their struggles in the context of their unique developmental histories and cultural identities. In her free time, Erin enjoys mountain biking, reading, spending time with family, and seeking new adventures.
