Bio

Dan is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who earned his B.A. and M.A. from New York University, and his doctorate in counseling psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. He completed his internship at the University of Virginia. His clinical and research interests include, working with students of color, first-gen students, racial trauma, grief and loss, interpersonal concerns, graduate students, group therapy, men and masculinity, and various systems within counseling centers. Dan approaches therapy mainly from an interpersonal-psychodynamic perspective, while also utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy as needed. Dan values taking a holistic approach with clients recognizing that various sociopolitical factors impact mental health and well-being. Dan enjoys spending time with family, hiking, rowing, cooking, and the little things that increase quality of life.
