
Barbara has been working with students with disabilities in higher education since 2003. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Vermont, and then her Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. On grounds, Barbara is responsible for providing leadership and managerial oversight to the department. To that end, it is her mission to ensure that services are not only compliant to all federal and state measures, but that UVA promotes a culture which encourages and welcomes a fully accessible student experience.
In her off time, Barbara enjoys movie nights with her family, beekeeping, making foods from scratch, and following San Francisco sports teams.
