The Pharmacy is open from 9am-5pm.
The Pharmacy is located on the first floor of the Student Health and Wellness building and serves UVA students and community members. The Pharmacy is a satellite of UVA Health and accepts most health insurance and prescription plans.
Students are not required to use the Pharmacy located in Student Health and Wellness.
The Pharmacy fills prescriptions from Student Health and Wellness providers and your community health care practitioners. Our pharmacist provides drug therapy review, patient education, drug information, and counseling for prescription and over-the-counter-medications in a private counseling area.
Student are able to receive TDAP, flu, Hepatitis B, and HPV vaccines through the Pharmacy at Student Health and Wellness.
- We process most drug insurance plans. Credit cards, checks, and cash may be used for medication purchases. Families may also establish a secure credit card-based account for their student.
- The Pharmacy has a selection of over-the-counter medications and health care products for sale.
- The Pharmacy has a Drug Take-Back box. The box can be found in the retail area of the pharmacy; patients, students and staff can dispose of unwanted medication by dropping their medications into the green metal box any time that the pharmacy is open. The Drug Take-Back box is not an appropriate place to drop needles.

The Pharmacy in the Student Health and Wellness building is located on 550 Brandon Ave. When entering through the front doors, the Pharmacy is directly to your left.
