Embedded CAPS Services

Embedded CAPS staff members have unique awareness of each School's culture, workload, and curriculum, as well as related challenges and common student concerns.

 

Darden School of Business

Dr. Debbie Wilson (she/her) is the CAPS psychologist at Darden. Dr. Wilson's office is located in the Camp Library Building, Rm 22 on the Ground Floor.

  • Appointments: You may schedule an initial appointment by calling CAPS at (434) 243-5150 and notifying the receptionist that you are enrolled at Darden.
    • Your initial meeting will typically occur in-person and last 60-90 minutes.
  • Crisis Services: If you are in crisis or experiencing an emergency, please call 434-243-5150 or go directly to CAPS in the Student Health and Wellness building during business hours.

McIntire School of Commerce

Erin Tracy, Ph.D.  (she/her) is the CAPS psychologist at McIntire. Her office is located on the 4th floor of the Student Health and Wellness building in the CAPS offices. Students can check in for their scheduled appointments with the CAPS receptionist.

The School of Architecture

Dr. Rachel Berry (she/her) and Lisa Bermeo, LCSW (she/her) are the CAPS psychotherapists at the School of Architecture. They are currently conducting all appointments at the CAPS office in the Student Health and Wellness building. Students can check in for their scheduled appointments in the CAPS reception area.

  • Appointments: You may schedule an initial 45-minute initial phone consultation with the counselors in one of two ways:
    • via Healthy Hoos

The School of Engineering and Applied Science has two CAPS embedded psychotherapists located in Thornton Hall, A-Wing Room A205.
